Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Education who will serve as the lead educator for e.l.f. SKIN internally as well as externally with domestic and global retail partners, providing science-based product knowledge + educational training on e.l.f. SKIN’s brand essence, regimens and ingredient knowledge.
The Senior manager of Education for e.l.f. SKIN reports to the Head of Education. This person will develop strong collaborations with the sales, marketing, innovation, brand and social teams by the creation and deployment of education tools that serve internal and consumer facing initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who is not only knowledgeable about skincare but also enjoys teaching and empowering others to succeed in the beauty industry.

\n- Deploying education strategy for e.l.f. SKIN
- Train and mentor internal and external partners on product and ingredient knowledge, application techniques, and selling behaviors, while functioning as a resource and a leader for e.l.f. SKIN
- Planning and executing all aspects of new hire trainings, internal trainings as well as retailer trainings
- Partner with cross functional teams to address areas of opportunities for retail growth and generate ideas and best practices to create sustainable programs with an aim to improve sell-through and awareness
- Develop educational assets and briefs that support new launches and priorities to include partnerships with:
- Innovation and Marketing teams to build product dossiers
- Product Development teams to deepen education surrounding new products in order to boost consumer appeal
- Creative teams to ensure accuracy and intention during asset creation
- Sales teams (domestic and international) to support any education or brand opportunities
- Creation and execution of e.l.f. SKIN educational video content to propel product and ingredient knowledge internally and externally.
- To include the execution of internal briefs, shooting content, and video editing
- Conducting retailer specific trainings to drive sales and elevate product knowledge
- Identify and prioritize learning needs of specific domestic and international retailers to create training solutions that enhance brand and product passion
- Build loyalty and drive sales with our retail partners through passionate training and effective education tools and assets
- Data Driven Decision Making
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of educational programs, assets and efforts
- Regularly assess training outcomes and implement improvements based on feedback and performance data
- Collaborate with ecommerce partners to ensure all education materials are updated in a timely manner on retailer sites and owned channels
- Manage direct reporting team member(s)-including providing coaching, feedback, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure team member(s) are well-equipped to succeed in their job duties and develop their professional skills.
- Lead and support field team events and brand activations
- Flexibility to travel when required
- Previous in store and retailer partnership experience
- 3+ years experience working in a skincare education training capacity
- Creative and conceptual thinker than can turn strong ideas into practical tools, materials, and programs to support the goals of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Ability to present in virtual and live environments
- Knowledge of latest skincare industry trends
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and manage all effectively
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
- Flexibility to travel when required
