Position Overview
The Copywriter Account Coordinator is a full-time position with the responsibility of writing, editing, and proofing compelling marketing, advertising, and PR copy for use in traditional and/or digital media. This will include web content planning and writing. This position will also assist with administrative duties, proposal preparation, account management, media, and marketing research/buying, social media development, and management. The qualified individual will possess exemplary administrative and writing skills, creativity, interpersonal, excellent time management skills, Internet competency, and unmatched intellectual curiosity.

Our client is a full-service, Strategic Digital Marketing and Communications Company. Our full package of services also includes strategic counsel, creative development for all media, media planning, and buying, public relations, event marketing, social media, collateral development, web design, and optimization, mobile, video, online/interactive, and search engine campaigns, as well as recruitment & diversity marketing.
Critical Job Tasks:
- Write advertising copy, blogs, press releases, social media content, and other related informative, marketing, and promotional material
- Write in various tones and voices and for a variety of audiences and mediums
- Proof, Edit, or rewrite the existing copy as necessary, and submit the copy for approval by the supervisor
- Invent themes and write the slogans that appear on flyers, brochures, digital slides, and other promotional materials
- Consult with account coordinators to obtain information on products or services and discuss the style and length of advertising copy
- Review advertising trends, consumer surveys, and other data regarding the marketing of goods, and services to determine the best way to promote clients
- Write SEO content for clients that will attract search engine traffic
- Bachelor's degree or above (Preferred majors in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or Journalism)
- Knowledge of media, communication, and dissemination techniques, and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
- Knowledge and ability to write relevant and intriguing content and copy
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strict adherence to deadlines
- Superior skills in research, communication, writing, and editing
