We currently have a vacancy for a Backend Developer (Team Lead) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Design, develop, and implement backend systems using Django framework;
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate frontend components with backend functionality;
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following best practices and coding standards;
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security;
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- University degree and a minimum 8 years of experience in a Senior Software Development role;
- Experience in Python and Django;
- Experience in working with an Agile development team with continuous development and deployment;
- Experience scoping, user testing and training for enterprise-related projects;
- Experience designing, developing and optimizing software as part of a distributed team using Git, especially in an open-source environment;
- Experience with quality assurance testing processes;
- Experience developing and deploying web solutions for use in low-bandwidth, challenging work environments;
- Experience optimizing database models, SQL / NoSQL, Postgres;
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development or IT industry;
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques;
- Excellent command of the English language.
