Why this role
Evolve is the largest tech-enabled, asset-light provider of vacation rental management services in North America. We’re looking for a Network Security Engineer to design, build and support foundational network and security technologies in a rapid growth, SaaS and cloud first environment. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology Engineering and Security, this role will be responsible for supporting and advancing a hybrid network architecture with both on-premise and cloud-based resources.
What you’ll do
- Support our on-premise HQ Meraki wired and wireless networks, WAN circuits and UPS infrastructure.
- Manage Secure Service Edge (SSE) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) technologies to ensure Evolve’s remote clients and data resources are protected from advanced threats.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers to design and implement AWS network resources.
- Monitor and tune Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules that protect Evolve’s public facing web applications.
- Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to remediate security vulnerabilities on public facing web applications.
- Develop and implement Domain Name System (DNS) strategy and support across Evolve’s internal and external assets and applications.
- Provide centralized IP Address Management (IPAM) capabilities across the organization.
- Manage SSL Certificates across internal and external applications.
What makes you a great fit :
- 5+ years’ experience administering LANs and WANs (data, voice) in a complex operational environment.
- Knowledge of data / IP networking and protocols (e.g., GRE, TCP, FTP, DNS, SSH).
- 3+ years of experience managing Cloudflare web security products.
- 3+ years experience with Meraki security gateways, switches, and wireless access points.
- 2+ years of experience with SSE/ZTNA technologies (Netskope, Zscaler, etc).
- Experience with AWS network and DNS technologies.
- Experience implementing and supporting firewall policy review and change management processes.
- Familiarity with VPN and alternate remote access technologies.
- Experience supporting certificate issuance and maintenance with various public certificate authorities.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including creation of SOPs, maintenance plans, network drawings, etc.
