Become an Outcoder as a Mid Senior Back-End Engineer (API & Serverless Architecture)
As a Back-End Engineer (API & Serverless Architecture), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from both web and mobile applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, system architects, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.2 to 5 years of experience in back-end development.Intermediate experience with JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and databases like RDS (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).Strong understanding of serverless architecture and RESTful API design.Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and related frameworks.Experience with Specification by Example.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.Knowledge of agile estimations and story points.Certified Scrum Developer (CSD).ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level.AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
