Job Description
Experian Data Quality is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the team. This role is one of the most important roles at EDQ, and it acts as the first point of contact for potential customers. In the Experian Data Quality BDR role, you will be on the front lines of our organization, interacting with our prospects and customers via email and phone to qualify business opportunities for our sales organization. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams on outbound prospecting initiatives in efforts to influence sales opportunities. We are looking for ambitious individuals looking to build a career in sales who are searching for professional development.
What you’ll be doing
- Qualifying inbound marketing leads to promote qualified sales meetings
- Outbound meeting booking through cold calling & email outreach
- Assisting sales & marketing teams execute ad-hoc marketing campaigns
- Building and managing a pipeline of leads through prospecting and qualifying marketing-generated leads
- Researching targeted accounts to generate potential business opportunities
- Supporting marketing campaigns by identifying new contacts within targeted accounts and markets
- Reporting on the success of campaigns and lead-generation activities
- Responsible for keeping salesforce up to date as you work through marketing leads
Qualifications
What your background looks like
- Bachelor’s degree required
- No prior sales experience is required, however, customer-facing experience preferred
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role, speaking on the phone with customers and prospects
- Excellent English written & verbal communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce, LinkedIn & ZoomInfo preferred
- Ability to be self-sufficient, working remotely
- Excellent time management skills
