Job Description

In the Sell-Side Client Success Manager (CSM) role, you are the right-hand sales extension of the Account Executive. You will manage the daily relationships within an assigned set of clients and prospects within the Sell-Side vertical. The CSM engages and supports client contacts to ensure the seamless execution of services, expanding business relationships and creating growth and upsell opportunities within the existing account base. This role is suited for individuals committed to progressing towards Account Executive or Business Development.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Communication with clients is frequent and fast - includes weekly status calls with and occasional travel to client locations (primarily NYC)
  • Collaborate on account planning with Account Executive to identify data sales opportunities
  • Develop relationships across all client/prospect base and internal departments
  • Organize various projects at the same time
  • Accountability to move projects assigned forward
  • Ensure all projects are accounted for and are moving within the defined timelines

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing customer relationships to implement projects related to data services and advertising campaigns
  • Daily "quarterbacking" of client's projects/campaigns to ensure execution of projects and being the liaison between the client and internal departments. Coordinate resources to ensure client satisfaction and return on investment
  • Collaborate on account planning with Account Executive to identify data sales opportunities
  • Responsible for regular status calls with Sales Leadership with existing portfolio
  • Complete basic contracts for standard products, services, and renewals
  • Educate and inform clients/prospects on all data assets and audience recommendations with ongoing consultation to clients to uncover challenges and offer data recommendations. Use product experts as a resource.
  • You will report to the Sales Director

Qualifications

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience is necessary
  • 2 + years of sales/marketing experience
  • Sell-side industry experience is highly valued. Agency or digital marketing experience is also helpful.
  • Use customer service skills to grow and foster client relationships
  • Manage large project portfolio with varying levels of details
  • Ability to travel – approx. 20% of time (assuming not located in NYC)
  • 100% Remote position
