Job Description

Our training experiences are heavily regulated to ensure that we are transferring the right knowledge, skills, and abilities to the right audience at the right time. Our Learning & Development eLearning Developers will spend most of their time designing and creating progressive digital content to ensure a seamless training experience that builds simulations that allow agents to perform specific actions in a learning environment that we can customize specific to needs, reporting to the L&D Director. Learning & Development eLearning Developers will work to ensure that our materials provide an applicable experience for our agents and reflective of current policies and procedures, participate in various projects that may transform our business, or continue to learn and develop on our team by taking on new lines of business, or focus on developing additional digital content that drives performance and impacts performance.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and maintain eLearning content and modules
  • Design and improve course storyboards, templates, graphics, animations, interactions, and training assets in concert with marketing to ensure a consistent branding experience
  • Create video production including audio and video editing in SCORM
  • Develop illustrations, graphics, etc. to support the course content
  • Partner with trainers, subject matter experts, and operations to determine training scope and content and produce quality content to convey complex and technical subjects in plain language
  • Collaborate with other members of the Learning & Development Team to brainstorm,, and review each other's work
  • Work with the Creative Services Designer for structuring course and curricula offerings
  • Participate in the design and development of course programs including specialty workshops, continuing education, computer-based training and new hire training programs
  • Work closely with business partners to evaluate needs and requirements for training program development and manages well to time-sensitive projects and assignments while ensuring a high-end user experience.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs by participating in agent classes and use relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in content design
  • Explore the use of new technologies, apply these technologies where applicable and assist with technical solutions for e-learning modules
  • Handle administrative tasks pre and post training deployment
  • Perform other job-related duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development or related field preferred (Required 4 Years)
  • Internal applicants require a minimum of two years of employment with Experian, or exceptional experience that can be leveraged within L&D
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate or business setting, preferably in Training or Human Resources
  • Experience in online curriculum development and delivery for adult learners. (Required 3 Years)
  • Experience in video production equipment and software to create video-based learning interactions
  • Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles
  • Experience in multimedia and graphic design to create SCORM files (Required 3 Years)
  • Expert-level command of course authoring tools and course development methodologies
  • Experience with SCORM requirements
  • Experience with Articulate or Captivate (Required 3 Years)
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Photoshop or Adobe (Required 3 Years)\
  • Demonstrate proficiency in essential software applications relevant to the job role, including using multiple programs at the same time
  • Office 365 knowledge and experience
  • Microsoft Teams usage
  • Learning Management System experience
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency, importance, and deadlines.
  • Works independent and collaboratively
  • Communicates clearly at all levels of the organization
  • Adjusts strategies, plans, and priorities to align with evolving business needs and opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading (Required 3 Years)
  • Works independent and as part of a team
