Job Description
Role Summary
You will provide primary finance partner support for the Direct to Consumer business within Experian Consumer Services, focusing on the Insurance market. This is a remote role, reporting to the Senior Finance Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular reporting and monitoring of key performance metrics versus targets and historical results for new market offerings
- Model future performance based on historic trends and future business plans (e.g., marketing / product feature launch plans)
- Commercial business partnering and decision support. Identifying issues and opportunities that impact revenue; drive to resolve issues and pursue opportunities.
- Provide finance support (including modeling returns) for proposed and ongoing strategies, partnerships, and other investments.
- Revenue and cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting - by multiple segmentations (e.g., client, vertical, customer type), along with scenario analysis to identify ranges of revenue outcomes. Deliver and requirements.
- Deliver market insights on our partners and help to drive visibility/insights to performance by partner/offering.
- Complete periodic close responsibilities including revenue and cost accounting critical to capturing our results.
- Manage preparation of performance update materials for major Finance processes such as monthly forecasts, Budget, 5-year Strategy and quarterly results.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in finance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in an e-commerce business, online marketplace or insurance business
- Competence in developing financial models for forecasting and business scenario evaluation.
- Interpret financial data from large datasets, verify the accuracy and draw out important highlights.
- Skills with business intelligence tools and financial systems. Expert level skills in Excel. Experience with Tableau, Oracle, and Hyperion.
- Experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting.
- A record of taking the initiative, driving processes end-to-end and implementing continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical skills
