Job Description
Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer at Experian, you will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Development. This is a remote friendly role and has the ability to work fully remote (li-remote). You will work on Fraud North America software and platforms with a focus on migration to AWS Cloud and application modernization. Additional work areas will also include containerization, Infra as code and deployment automation. Applications supported will include Precise ID, PID microservices, Precise Match, IEN, among others. This role will participate as a member of a Fraud Technology Scrum team to fulfill these objectives. They will be expected to function with a fair degree of autonomy taking high level direction from Leadership and Product teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools (we use Terraform)
- Strong prompt engineering skills usage of AI code assistance
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation testing, and test-driven development
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Technical SME code and systems supporting several Fraud applications
- Mentor other junior members
- Assist with decomposing work and sprint planning
- Make and promote code changes for necessary changes
- Provide arch. design inputBenefits

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring development, AWS cloud
- JBOSS experience preferable
- Proven experience with Microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with SQL (Aurora MySQL) and NOSQL based RMDBs
