Job Description

Solution Architect - Experian Health

The Solution Architect will be a key team member responsible for defining the solution design for Experian Health's CIAM solution, helping choose the right CIAM products and guide the team on its implementation. This is a technical role with internal stakeholder and external customer-facing responsibilities. The ideal candidate must be hands-on and must be experienced in delivering CIAM projects in cloud environments. Additionally, the architect is responsible for the successful completion of CIAM initiatives under tight deadlines.

The Solution Architect is responsible for

  • Leading a team of developers responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying a quality CIAM solution.
  • Scheduling meetings and providing reporting - updates to key stakeholders.
  • Producing technical documents.
  • Hands on management of CIAM products.
  • Should be able to effectively communicate the big picture to the team for successful realization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizational awareness, community leadership, voice of customer and stakeholder alignment.
  • CIAM solution design, implementation, delivery, operationalization, continuous improvement and exceptional user experience in complex environment.
  • Physical and logical architecture solution roadmaps.
  • Simplify and explain complex technical concepts, solutions, root cause analysis, findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical staff.
  • Recommend CIAM quality standards and ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Establish and facilitate CIAM related processes: project and change request and prioritization, design review, incident response, management reporting, industry alignment, and automation acceleration.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to Experian Health (EH) product-application developers. Mentoring tech leads and developers. Writing code examples.
  • Collaborate with management and other software development departments. Provide aspirational vision, strategic recommendations, operational insight, and tactical recommendations.
  • Ability to think strategically, evaluate and resolve problems.

Qualifications

  • Extensive application developer experience with industry leading CIAM products (Site Minder, ForgeRock, Plain ID, Ping Identity, Oracle, etc.) required
  • Strong AWS architecture experience required
  • Candidate must have a strong background in designing CIAM architecture for large, complex CIAM environments.
  • Candidate must have experience in
  • Registration - Onboarding
  • Authentication
  • Authorization
  • Third-party Service-API Access & Authorization
  • User Access Delegation
  • User De-provisioning
  • Multi-cloud SCIM integration with legacy applications and technology stacks.
  • Candidate must have experience and strong knowledge of
  • Identity management, access management and directory services technologies
  • OAuth, Open ID Connect (OIDC) and SAML
  • MFA, PAM and Risk Based Authentication
  • AWS space with various AWS services and implementations (i.e. VPCs, SES, RC2, R3, Route 53, Cloud Formation, etc.)
  • Multi-cloud identity integration experience and expertise (SCIM, OAuth 2.0, Coarse and Fine-Grained Authorization)
  • Microservices
  • Databases and data access methodologies.
  • Building and using web APIs (REST, JSON, XML, SCIM).
  • Java, development of servlets, Spring Security, etc.
  • JavaScript, React, Node.js, AngularJS, Regular Expressions, HTML, and CSS in support of web application development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a broad range of technologies to deliver complex solutions.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • The successful candidate will possess an outstanding record of professional experience and will thrive in an environment that demands accountability. Must also have strong planning, organizational, communication skills, and be a key driver to help the team understand the big picture perspective.
  • Have excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communications with employees and management chain, including status reports, project plans, presentations, etc.
  • Ability to lead across functions and motivate personnel who may not be in a direct reporting relationship.
  • Experience with ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Plain ID, AWS, Java, .NET, ReactJS, Bamboo, Octopus is highly desired
