Job Description

The Technical Product Specialist will focus on translating the vision of the product line managers into clear and applicable requirements, while ensuring that technical delivery teams understand the business context and goals behind those requirements. Overseeing the process of coordinating work across multiple technology platforms will be a primary responsibility. You will combine technical program management, product development process design, creation of effective requirements for the engineering teams and client guidance during solution integration phase.

What you'll be doing

  • Aide in the orchestration and agreement of multiple product backlogs across multiple technology layers and platforms (technical program management)
  • Collaborate with a matrixed team of technical resources to flush out requirements based on inputs from product line managers and aide in the translation into high and low-level design and ensuring efficient product architecture
  • Ensure that engineering teams maintain an understanding of the business context driving technical requirements
  • Facilitate fast decision-making, issue resolution and agreement among the team members
  • Facilitate and guide client during Solution integration stage
  • Escalate obstacles and help the team improve quality and service.
  • Ensure that products and product capabilities deliver an optimal user experience, conform to the product requirements, and are error free.
  • You will be reporting to the Product Director, Verifications Solutions
  • 100% remote position

Qualifications

What your background looks like

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Business, or a technical field.
  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience in software, data management, and/or financial services sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience with new product planning and delivery, from concept to feasibility to development and launch
  • Must have experience with main product management responsibilities, including writing requirements/user stories, creating mocks/wireframes, market research, competitive analysis, product reporting.
  • Must be metrics driven.
  • Experience defining and developing products to meet customer requirements from creation to launch
