Job Description
- The Vice President of Solution Engineering and Advisory will lead a team of Industry Principals responsible for providing industry expertise, leadership, and solution consulting to Experian’s Financial Services clients focused on complex new business development opportunities.
- You will collaborate with sales teams and cross functional business unit partners to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies to over-achieve against annual revenue and new sales targets.
- You will develop and oversee critical operating rhythms to capture voice of the client, understand market factors, document regulatory changes, use artificial intelligence sources, and create compelling ROI’s for solutions across our cloud-based unified platform promoting programs for marketing, underwriting, fraud management, portfolio management and collections.
- You and your team will combine business strategy with technology to create best practices and advance approach throughout the organization.
- Your team will partner directly with clients or as a resource to other solution consultants to position Experian as a true strategic advisor, building long-term partnerships and providing negotiation support on multi-year contracts which provide market-differentiating value for our North American Financial Services clients.
- You will also provide critical expertise to internal partners.
- Manage a team responsible for the most sophisticated solutioning required for our clients’ success
- Identify, recruit and hire, experienced talent
- Oversee critical cross-department operating rhythms that grow everyone’s knowledge and increase expertise
- Create demand, progress solutions, and support negotiations to close new business and renewal opportunities
- Develop new and existing customer relationships by applying a consultative sales approach that results in increased sales and customer satisfaction
- Establish consultative business relationships with senior C-level executives
- Collaborate with partners to develop marketing leading solutions
- Provide industry expertise to influence product and development roadmap
- Work with Experian sales, technology, account management, delivery/support and product management to nurture the development of strategic solutions for this market that measurably add client value and position Experian favorably against our competition
- Exceed annual revenue and new contract targets

Qualifications
You have passion to win and the emotional intelligence required to navigate complex deal structure and secure stakeholder commitment, both internally and externally.
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years’ experience with a large US financial institution in credit card risk management or marketing analytics
- Experience with machine learning and big data platforms an advantage
- Experience growing a business over time, with year-over-year goal over-achievement
- Expert in developing complex credit risk and credit marketing strategies
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise lending or marketing systems an advantage
- Known as an expert by clients looking to solve business challenges
- Produce results, developing people, ensuring client satisfaction, and securing wins
- Develop and execute knowledge acquisition operating rhythms to quickly develop less experienced Industry Principals and Solution Consultants.
- Manage and motivate a team of top performing individuals.
- Implement and manage strategic initiatives
- Outstanding people management, collaboration, leadership and developmental skills
- Willingness to travel
