About the Role:
We are looking for a Director of Finance & Strategy to lead strategic financial planning for Expressable. The Director will play a critical role in establishing management reporting and business analytics to support operational and financial decision making as the company continues to scale following the company's recent Series B fundraise. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, strategic, collaborative, and curious. Reporting to Expressable’s SVP of Finance, the Director will continue to build the strategic finance team to support financial operations and analytics.

\n- Lead near- and long-term strategic financial planning
- Own Expressable’s financial modeling and forecasting processes, including monthly reporting of operational and financial results and budget vs actual analyses
- Lead the annual budgeting process for revenue and expense
- Monitor and report on KPIs to Expressable’s leadership team, including identifying key opportunities and risks and corresponding strategic recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to support data-driven decision-making across the company, including decisions regarding growth strategy, geographic expansion, operational optimization, etc.
- Spearhead efforts to optimize and streamline forecasting and other processes to better achieve business objectives, including partnering with internal teams (accounting, revenue operations, sales, product, etc.) to create new, and enhance existing, processes
- Assist in preparation of Board materials for Board meetings and ad hoc Board requests
- Manage investor relations requests and external reporting
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of professional experience including 3+ years of experience in finance at a healthcare operating company and 2+ years experience in finance, consulting, or other similar data-driven / analytical role
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including experience building financial models and conducting financial analysis in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to analyze and present complex financial and operational data in a simple, concise, and actionable manner
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining strong attention to detail to drive execution and results
- Ability to effectively collaborate and influence across all functions and levels, including C-suite
- Ability to hire, develop, and empower a high-performing finance team
- Strong understanding of GAAP and experience partnering closely with accounting teams
