Job Description
Forbes Advisor is seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven SEO Executive to manage and grow our offering in the US for various higher education topics. We need you to help take us to the next level.
We have big aspirations, and you’ll have all the tools and resources needed at your disposal to make us the #1 organic site in the US for educational products and information. Examples of verticals we support include online degrees options, advancing or switching careers, and many more. You will be one member of a larger team spread between the UK, US & India working to improve and build Forbes Advisor.

Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with the SEO manager for Education and other team members to build out the editorial roadmaps
Monitor and manage education services verticals
Conduct detailed keyword research to find the most relevant and effective terms/phrases with the highest ROI
Analyse high performing competitor domains to provide insight and opportunities for future growth
Optimise current content including title tag and meta description, headers and copy through robust content briefs to improve ranking and internal linking improvements
Spearhead the ideation, execution and tracking of tests for the education vertical on the site.
Analyse existing content to identify and implement improvements
Monitor and analyse overall site performance including rankings and conversion
About You:
At least 3 year of SEO experience
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage a heavy workload both autonomously and with a team
Experience with on-page SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking and content briefs
You’ve used SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC and Google Analytics
Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals and site speed
Working knowledge of CRO & A/B testing techniques
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Have a passion for continued learning and staying up to date on industry news
Knowledge and experience with WordPress and other CMS
Experience within U.S. education preferred but not required
