JOB SUMMARY: The Manager / Senior Manager, Operations Quality Control, Digital Banking is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes within our bank operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, U.S. banking regulations, and developing and delivering accurate, timely reports to senior leadership. This role requires extensive knowledge of bank operations, regulatory requirements, and designing and implementing effective quality control strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, procedure adherence and compliance in bank operations, including customer service, fraud operations, customer onboarding, payment processing, reconciliations, and transaction workflows 
  • Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable internal policies, procedures, and U.S. banking regulations, including but not limited to BSA/AML, Regulation DD, Regulation E, and Nacha rules 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within operations and establish control measures to mitigate these risks effectively 
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare and present detailed reports and insights to senior leaders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations 
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and reduce operational errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices 
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to staff on quality standards, operational processes, and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Years of Experience (Manager): Minimum of 5 years of experience in Bank Operations, Quality Control, or a related field required 
  • Years of Experience (Senior Manager): Minimum of 7 years of experience in Bank Operations, Quality Control, or a related field required 
  • Education (Manager): Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; Experience may substitute for education requirement 
  • Education (Senior Manager): Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required 
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and payment systems, including ACH, wire transfers, and digital payments required 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies 
  • Experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills 
  • Proficiency in relevant banking software and Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with audit processes and working with regulatory bodies 
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) strongly preferred 


LOCATION:
  • This is a remote position and requires compliance with Forbright Bank’s Telecommuting Policy including access to internet with a minimum download speed of 75 Mbps (100 Mbps recommended) and minimum upload speed of 25 Mbps. Occasional business travel may be required.

The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. $67,000 (entry/manager level qualifications) to $128,000 (highly/senior manager experienced).
