ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Senior Manager of Paid Marketing at Freed, you will own and execute the paid acquisition strategy and program dedicated to driving efficient customer growth across all digital marketing channels, including paid search, social, display, affiliate programs, and beyond. Reporting to the Head of Growth, this role would be instrumental in formulating the full funnel media strategy & execution to drive 10X growth for Freed.

HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT

  • Own and execute on the overall paid media strategy across the full funnel (awareness to conversions) and deliver on the customer acquisition growth goals of the company from all relevant channels (search, social, display, video, affiliates, etc.).

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey for our products, including where and how different media channels fit into that journey.

  • Drive the marketing budget and forecasting process for new clients and assets across channels.

  • Work with the creative team to formulate a creative testing roadmap and execute ongoing creative and landing page tests to deliver impact.

  • Communicate our paid marketing strategy, performance, and insights to cross-functional and executive teams regularly.

  • Assess and build in-house talent where necessary and partner with media agencies/contractors as needed.

  • Partner with Analytics, Data Science & Engineering to refine our attribution models and reporting to deliver clear, measurable results.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • 7+ years of experience leading a paid/performance marketing function for a high-growth company, ideally PLG SaaS.

  • Experience managing 8 8-figure media budgets with a track record of achieving conversion goals at an efficient LTV/CAC.

  • Hands-on experience in executing campaigns, running creative & incrementality testing across key platforms such as Google ads, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, Youtube, etc.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills - the ability to work with large data sets to derive actionable campaign insights and execute them to deliver impact.

  • Strong understanding of both brand building and direct response performance marketing; and how the two approaches work together over time.
