About the role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor with a strong background in 3D animation to join our growing production team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and crafting visually compelling video content for a variety of platforms and projects, including digital campaigns, branded content, promotional videos, and more. You will work closely with directors, designers, and other creatives to bring ideas to life through seamless editing and innovative animation techniques. This is a senior-level position where you will play a key role in shaping the visual direction of video content, from conceptualization through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble video content for a wide range of projects, including digital ads, social media videos, branded content, and long-form video content.

Create high-quality 3D animation sequences, motion graphics, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and elevate the overall production value.

Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, and other team members to execute and refine video concepts, ensuring the final product aligns with the creative vision and client objectives.

Work with raw footage, sound, voiceovers, and music to craft compelling narratives that engage the audience.

Ensure smooth integration of 3D animation, motion graphics, and live-action footage to create cohesive, polished final pieces.

Lead the creative process for video edits, providing input and direction on the overall visual style, pacing, and tone of each project.

Supervise and mentor junior video editors or motion graphic designers, providing feedback and helping to elevate the team's work.

Manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and techniques in video editing, animation, and video production software.

Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and successful delivery of final video content across various platforms.
Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both editing and 3D animation.

Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

Strong proficiency in 3D animation and motion graphics using tools such as Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar.

Solid understanding of video post-production processes, including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.

Strong creative vision, with the ability to craft compelling video content that resonates with target audiences and supports brand messaging.

Experience working with both live-action footage and 3D animation, and integrating them seamlessly into high-quality video productions.

Strong understanding of storytelling techniques, pacing, and video composition.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:

Experience with compositing software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke).

Knowledge of 3D rendering, lighting, and texture mapping.

A background in film production, design, or animation is a plus.

Familiarity with video delivery requirements across different platforms (social media, broadcast, web).

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $134,400 - $168,000 plus variable compensation.
