Gorilla Logic is looking for an Associate Manual QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of clients’ customizations and configurations during software upgrades and the implementation of new features. The role includes creating and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases to maintain software integrity and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
*Review upgrade documentation to define the scope of testing efforts for new releases and customizations.
*Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D QA and product managers, to assess new release enhancements and understand pre-existing tests.
*Develop detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases that meet quality standards.
*Estimate and plan testing activities, defining timeframes and resource requirements.
*Identify manual test cases suitable for automation and support the automation effort.
*Document, track, and manage bugs effectively, ensuring thorough tracking of issues.
*Conduct thorough regression testing once bugs are resolved.
*Identify and communicate project risks, such as blocking issues, quality concerns, or resource constraints, to keep stakeholders informed.
*Track and report key quality assurance metrics, including pre- and post-release defect counts.
Technical Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
1-3 years of experience in manual software testing, including both "happy path" and negative/compatibility/configuration tests.
*1-3 years of experience in creating test plans, test case development, defect tracking, and metrics reporting, preferably using Jira.
*1+ years of experience testing within Agile development environments.
*Experience with test case management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or TFS/Azure DevOps.
*Proficiency in SQL for data migration and extraction testing.

*1+ years of experience with non-functional testing methodologies, including performance and API testing.
