Senior DevOps Engineer
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client's system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and management of the CI/CD pipeline to support the automated deployment of products and services
* Responsible for the implementation of automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Build tools to reduce occurrences or errors and improve customer experience
* Scale out and build monitoring capabilities for applications and infrastructure
* Responsible for building and maintaining configuration management
* Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
* Responsible for maintaining source control systems for applications and infrastructure
* Responsible for cloud and virtualized infrastructure
Technical Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a devops role, preferably as a team lead
* Passionate about engineering efficiency and developer productivity
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Strong documentation skills
* Proficient with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Github CI/CD and Terraform
* Experience with Java and Javascript based applications
* Interest in modern CI/CD technologies, e.g. Pulumi
