As the founding member of the Grafana Labs growing partner team, you will work cross-functionally to define and build the essential elements of a successful partner marketing program, including go to market strategies, processes, campaigns, templates, documents, and more. Reporting directly to the CMO with a dotted line to the partner and corporate development executives, you will have an impact across all partner types as you design and execute campaigns and projects at scale to drive new business and opportunities for the partner team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and build the Grafana Labs partner marketing program:
- Working closely with the partner selling team, craft campaigns, messaging, and templates that align with the Grafana Labs selling motion to drive new business and opportunities in the partner ecosystem
- Act as lead for all engagements pertaining to marketing with cloud service providers AWS and Google, developing marketing plans and seeing through execution and managing deliverables
- Collaborate across teams to deliver highly polished partner assets
- Contribute to the curation of partner materials for demand generation programs, enablement, and communications
- Collaborate with communications teams to define strategies and best practices, then deliver polished assets to drive success such as playbooks, one pagers, and parter-facing assets
- Track and manage finances:
- Manage budget supporting the partner marketing programs and ensure effective management of funds across forecasting, guidance and planning, operational management, and measurement of impact
- Track and report on impact:
- Proactively track and provide updates on results of partner campaigns to key cross-functional partners
- Measure, report on, and present return on investment metrics for partner programs and activities to key partners and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing/partner marketing preferably in technology industry
- Willingness to travel (~30%) globally
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in partner finance nuances, operational accounting and management
- Ability to grow into leadership position, hiring and developing new talent for the team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends and technologies
- Proficiency in CRMs, Splash, partner portal management and maintenance a plus
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience building all of the supporting marketing elements for a partner program - defining processes, documenting guidelines, building templates, etc.
- A strong understanding of a wide set of partner types - cloud service providers, global systems integrators, reseller and technology partners - and the nuances for each partner type and successful engagement strategies
- A positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations and an ability to work cross functionally within marketing and other functions to achieve goals
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills; extreme attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Experience with open source selling motion a plus
In the United States, the OTE compensation range for this role is $168,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable), and other benefits listed on our careers page.
