GrowthAssistant is seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant for an e-commerce company. This role is integral to supporting various accounting and financial operations-related tasks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and have a background in financial operations or accounting.
Salary: Up to Php 90,000 depending on experience

The Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in accounting or accounting support role
- 1+ years experience with Quickbooks online
- Experience with Vendor Central, PayPal, Shopify, AfterPay, Amazon Pay
- E-commerce experience, Shopify and Amazon
- Ability to work independently, attention to detail, critical thinking skills
- Intermediate - advanced Excel / GSheets
- Can work on the graveyard shift on any US timezone
The Role:
- Ensure that all invoices are recorded and coded properly
- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Work closely with all departments to ensure any issues or queries are resolved in a timely manner
- Follow SOP to download DTC cash transaction receipts from Shopify, PayPal, AfterPay, Amazon Pay, Amazon Vender Cental etc; edit per CC, chargebacks, ect and import into Quickbooks
- Accounts receivable: majority Amazon (and some retailers) import into Quickbooks
- Manage reports for wholesale accounts
- Assist with older collections accounts
- Assist in credit card reconciliations
- Manual invoicing
- Work with Sales Ops team and EDI hub TrueCommerce
- Temporarily pull line and SKU data from TrueCommerce
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Teams for internal comms
- CPA a plus but not required
- Inventory background and knowledge a plus but not required
