GrowthAssistant is looking for a Social Media Manager for our growth marketing team in the US. This teammate will co-create and execute a content calendar - client to provide content calendar platform and support in the initial creation of content themes, timing, etc.

The Role
- Co-create and execute a content calendar - client to provide content calendar platform and support in the initial creation of content themes, timing, etc.
- Research engaging information by delving into data, insights, and secrets to uncover valuable and unique perspectives
- Identify interesting topics, monitoring trends, and analyzing audience interests through Industry Newsletters, trade association publications, listening to client calls, competitor activities, Twitter and more - client to provide guidance/direction - client to provide direction and guidance re: where to look for relevant content
- Extract and repurpose content from aforementioned blog/white papers/newsletters/case studies or other internal meetings/memos/press releases and create compelling social content (i.e. LinkedIn posts, Twitter threads, etc.) to drive traffic to desired website/landing page/etc. - client to identify content and provide prescriptive direction re: repurposing content
- Community management (i.e. responding to social media engagement) - client to provide templates/scripts
The Requirements:
- 2+ years of organic social media experience (executing content calendar, community engagements/comms, etc.) in a start-up or "building" environment (i.e. starting from scratch)
- Experience with content creation/moderation (any experience with AI a bonus!)
- Passion for copywriting and ability to use AI and other tools to generate new copy/content
- Eye for design and ability to use Canva or similar tool to generate professional static graphics and basic video edits
- Experience with G Suite is a must-have
- Strong written and verbal communication - ability to write for a professional, C-suite audience.
Nice-to-have:
- 1+ years experience with an email marketing platform (using templates)
- Set up workflow and necessary infrastructure (tech stack, triggers, etc.) and improve processes through iteration.
- Experience with WordPress or similar - ability to edit, post blogs, revise landing pages, update etc.
