Position Summary 

HackerOne is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented People Operations Associate to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our global workforce, focusing on executing compliant, streamlined, and efficient people processes.  This individual also shares a deep connection to our core values of respecting all people, transparency, teamwork, executing with excellence, and always leading with integrity.

As a People Operations Associate, you will ensure a seamless employee experience, supporting various people processes and maintaining compliance with local laws and global policies. Your experience in onboarding, offboarding, policy management, and process improvement will contribute to our success as a global organization.

What You Will Do 

  • Employee Lifecycle: Administer comprehensive onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new, existing, and departing employees.

  • Shared Services: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, triage and respond to People Team support tickets, meeting SLAs and encouraging self-service solutions.

  • Project Tasks and OKR Support: Contribute to achieving organizational objectives through project and task execution.

  • Process Improvement and Automation: Continuously evaluate people processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement automation solutions. 

  • Administrative Excellence: Own and execute administrative tasks related to onboarding, offboarding, employment verifications, data entry, data reporting and audits with precision, ensuring all routine tasks are completed to a high standard and data integrity is always maintained.  

  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain a documentation mindset, ensuring processes and communications are appropriately documented and shared on our internal systems.

Minimum Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 2 years of operations experience in a similar role

  • Employment Law and Compliance: Familiarity with laws and compliance requirements globally, especially the United States.

  • Shared Services: Experience using a ticketing platform (we use FreshService)

  • Lean Team Experience: Ability to thrive in a lean team environment, being resourceful and adaptable.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively across different teams and departments, fostering a collaborative work environment and achieving common goals.

  • Must be based remotely on the east coast. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications  

  • HRIS: Excellent understanding of administration and business process within Workday

  • People Operations: Experience executing, collaborating, or implementing on people-centric initiatives

  • Global HR Experience: Prior experience working with an Employer of Record (EOR) and managing employees outside of the United States.
