Position Summary
The Strategic Marketing Operations Manager is a key individual contributor role, responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes and systems, and transforming data into insights to inform strategic decisions for the Marketing & Community team. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing & Community, this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and hands-on execution. The Strategic Marketing Operations Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with business objectives.

What You Will Do
Operational Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement marketing operations strategies to maximize efficiency & effectiveness of key Marketing & Community initiatives.
Oversee the department’s technology stack, ensuring tools and systems are effectively integrated and utilized.
Manage and streamline processes, ensuring they are scalable and aligned with overall business goals.
Oversee the operating model for the department, orchestrating QBRs and other necessary cadences, budget reviews, and all hands meetings.
Maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
Data & Analytics:
Working with the data & analytics team, develop & optimize dashboards and reporting to provide insights into performance and ROI for key department initiatives, including pipeline health, campaign performance.
Conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Partner with Sales Operations team to ensure full funnel reporting and analytics are actionable and delivered on demand.
Lead Management & Optimization:
Work with the demand generation team to optimize lead scoring, nurturing, and conversion processes.
Monitor campaign performance, providing recommendations for optimization and improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Collaborate with the content and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
Act as a liaison between Marketing & Community and IT to manage technical projects and troubleshoot issues.
Project Management:
Lead complex Marketing & Community projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Develop project plans, set milestones, and coordinate resources to achieve project goals.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in marketing operations, data analytics, or a related role within a B2B SaaS environment.
Have worked at a high-tech startup/mid-size company.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), project management systems (e.g., Asana, Monday) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau).
Oversee the marketing & community budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and identifying areas for cost optimization.
Identified, documented, and implemented process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within a marketing department.
Manage relationships with key vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to achieve the best value for the company.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional projects and successfully utilizing tools like Monday.com.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Must be based remotely in the United States. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.

Lead the preparation and execution of QBR presentations and other executive-facing decks, ensuring all relevant data is accurately compiled and presented.
