Harbor is seeking a Digital Librarian/Digital Asset Manager to work remotely on an exciting information management initiative within a large US-based technology organization as it centralizes its vast content holdings into an integrated AI-based ecosystem.
This position will play a pivotal role in streamlining and standardizing multiple systems and leveraging an evolving AI solution to maximize content organization and the overall user experience. This role will be at the intersection of Technology, Engineering and Information Management and must be exceptionally organized and capable of understanding and advocating for a streamlined user experience that is intuitive to user expectations when engaging with systems and content.
This role will collaborate closely with client and contractor cross-functional team to maintain steady and effective progress toward all project goals. This is a remote position, and candidates can be located anywhere in the US but will be required to time-shift as needed to coordinate/collaborate with other project colleagues across multiple time zones.
Qualifications:
- MLS/MLIS degree
- Experience in Records Management and / or Digital Asset Management, SIA Digital Archiving Certification a plus
- Experience with Digital Asset Management software
- Experience with taxonomy and metadata standards, application and practical implementation
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and comfortable distilling complex information into small synapses of relevant data
- Must have exceptional organizational skills, be process-oriented and detail oriented and capable of understanding big picture and details in context
- Project management skill, capable of meeting deadlines and deliverables and making regular, meaningful progress toward goals while being meticulous, careful and consistent
- Identify and advocate for best practices and standards across the entire library/content ecosystem
- 3 – 5 years prior relatable experience a plus
