Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our platform team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in experimenting with, developing, and enhancing AI capabilities. These include Conversational Chatbots, Voice Agents, Speech Understanding, Natural Language Understanding, and Search and Retrieval Optimization, aiming to advance the next generation of GoHighLevel AI products.
•Architecture Design: Collaborate with Data and DevOps engineers to design robust AI systems architecture that supports scalable and efficient AI solutions.
•Ownership and Accountability: Assume full ownership of model accuracy, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure continuous progress and alignment with business objectives.
•Release Management: Manage the lifecycle of software releases, planning strategically to meet project timelines and performance goals.
•Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of code quality by conducting regular design and code reviews, ensuring the maintenance of excellent development practices.
- Candidates must have extensive hands-on experience with Python. Proficiency in key ML/DL frameworks such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch, and Huggingface is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build, tune, and evaluate advanced LLMs using PyTorch, Tensorflow, and HuggingFace. Applicants should have a deep understanding of model architectures, especially Transformers and pre-GPT models like BERT and T5, as well as current open-source SOTA LLMs.
- Must be skilled in managing diverse data sources, developing ETL pipelines, curating datasets, extracting features, and innovating with both new and existing models to drive project outcomes.
- Solid experience in developing REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI is required, along with a comprehensive understanding of MLOps principles. Familiarity with tools like MLflow and Kubeflow is crucial for efficient model development and tracking.
- Grounded experience in using data science, ML, and NLP techniques to analyze and improve natural language generation performance. Experience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG), various RAG approaches and optimizations, and prompt engineering is required.
- Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and scope out requirements. This role demands proactive involvement throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Experience with deploying, monitoring, and optimizing solutions on cloud platforms is necessary, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security to ensure optimal performance.
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong ability to solve both closed and open-ended problems, with a knack for traditional application engineering and system performance optimization.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required, along with at least 3 years of AI engineering experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial.
