About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in mobile testing and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Appium and a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. As a Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile applications across various platforms.
\n- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium or any other similar mobile test automation framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Conduct comprehensive testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs and perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality
- Continuously enhance the automated testing framework to improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with developers to resolve them
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in mobile testing and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in mobile QA automation
- Proven experience with Appium for both iOS and Android platforms
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
