Company : Highmark Health Job Description : JOB SUMMARY Lead the optimization and transformation of our marketing operations processes. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation across our marketing function. Successful candidates will be a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and a track record of driving organizational change. They will possess both the operations expertise to optimize our marketing processes/supporting technology and the leadership skills to educate and guide teams through significant transformation. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform management responsibilities to include but are not limited to involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. Process Optimization and Work Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive 3–5-year marketing operations transformation roadmap Implement and optimize marketing work management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Establish a marketing operations center of excellence to drive best practices and continuous improvement Implement agile methodologies to increase speed-to-market and scalability Technology and Innovation: Architect and implement future-state vision for marketing operations technology stack Evaluate and implement Gen AI tools and use cases to enhance marketing operations and content development Drive a culture of data-driven decision making and operational excellence Develop a governance framework for rapid experimentation and iteration of marketing operation strategies Leadership and Change Management: Regularly report transformation progress to marketing leadership and manage stakeholder expectations Lead change management initiatives, including developing communication plans and training programs Build and lead a high-performing team of marketing operations specialists Develop and manage budget for marketing operations transformation initiatives Performance Measurement: Develop a comprehensive framework for measuring marketing operations ROI Implement performance dashboards providing real-time insights to drive decision making Other duties as assigned or requested. EXPERIENCE Required 5 years of Management or leadership role 5 years of Marketing operations implementation and optimization 5 years of Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives 5 years of Expert knowledge of marketing work management tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) Preferred 5 years of Deep expertise in marketing operations technology, data analytics, and agile methodologies 5 years of Professional experience using technology, tools, and AI in a Marketing function 3 years of Experience in managing budgets and diverse teams SKILLS Exceptional communication and change management skills Deep proficiency in marketing technology tools and platforms (e.g. work management, CRM, marketing automation, analytics tools) Expert understanding of marketing processes and workflows Strong ability to develop and execute marketing operations strategies and lead organizational change initiatives Proficiency in design and documentation of processes and structures for marketing workflows, tasks and campaigns Experience leveraging Gen AI to enhance marketing performance Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Experience with campaign management and optimization Strong understanding marketing costs, ROI and opertations budgets Proactive in learning and adapting to new marketing technologies, tools, and AI-powered marketing platforms. Ability to provide training to team members on new tools and processes EDUCATION Required Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree. Pay Range Minimum: $92,300.00 Pay Range Maximum: $170,800.00 Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
