The House of Mercier is excited to announce openings for Portuguese Speaking Social Media Content Moderators in remote positions based in Greece. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about social media and are dedicated to creating a positive online community from the comfort of their own homes. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content across various platforms in Portuguese, ensuring that all content aligns with community standards. Responsibilities
- Moderate and assess user-generated content on social media platforms to ensure compliance with established community guidelines.
- Review posts, comments, and messages in Portuguese, making informed decisions to approve, flag, or remove inappropriate content.
- Document and report instances of policy violations, including hate speech, spam, and other harmful behaviors.
- Engage with users by responding to inquiries and providing clarity regarding community standards.
- Collaborate with the social media team to share insights based on user interactions and community trends.
- Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and assist in creating performance reports.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media moderation.
Requirements
- Fluency in Portuguese, with excellent written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Prior experience in content moderation or related social media roles is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess content accurately.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and sound judgment in moderation decisions.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content policies.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced environment.
