Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on leader to help further develop and scale distribution operations across US, Asia and Europe. The individual will manage a team as well as collaborate with cross-organizational partners in the execution of various logistics plans to support Impossible's growth strategy

Essential Job Functions:
  • Lead domestic & international logistics operations including oversight of external 3PL operation activities.
  • Optimize the existing distribution network by maintaining relationships with 3PL partners, Improving processes and enhancing scalability.
  • Handle financial budgeting and critical metrics reporting for Logistics Operations; provide market insights on freight market trends.
  • Drive 3PL and transportation provider service levels to deliver 95%+ On-Time Delivery while maintaining cost targets.
  • Develop a trade compliance program to ensure the company conforms with US and international import/export regulations.
  • Develop transportation and warehouse capacity planning models that support the global growth objectives.
  • Design and implement an operational roadmap that supports global distribution across a variety of channels in all markets.
  • Champion service improvement initiatives and drive root cause/corrective action across the distribution network.
  • Conduct RFQs/RFPs for new carrier selection and onboarding.
  • Support NPI fulfillment timelines required to meet new market/product launches.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree (or Bachelors plus experience) in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience within global distribution.
  • Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations.
  • Experience with various facets within operations including inventory, transportation, planning, warehousing, supply chain management.
  • Experience in all modes of transportation (LTL/FTL, intermodal, maritime, air) and 3PL warehousing operations.
  • Strong process knowledge, expense controls and analytical skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter/learner that can drive cross-functional projects.
  • Work independently as a member of a virtual team!


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with ERP and/or TMS systems.
  • Strong analytical skills including reporting/dashboard experience in Tableau, data warehousing, metrics development.
  • Proficient in negotiation tactics and strategies.
  • Experience leading a temperature-controlled / perishable supply chain.

$144,000 - $168,000 a year
This U.S. based, full-time position offers the above base salary range + equity + benefits + bonus plan. 
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
