Role Overview:
Our global People & Culture (P&C) team is seeking a visionary Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) for a six-month contract. This pivotal role is designed for a dynamic HR leader committed to redefining traditional HR practices to fuel our company’s rapid growth.
As the central figure in our global operations, you will drive the implementation of our Global People Strategy, overseeing diverse people hubs across various jurisdictions with strategic insight and robust leadership. \n- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Serve as a key strategic partner, aligning HR initiatives with InDebted’s business objectives to fuel growth and organisational development.
- Lead the standardisation of HR operations, guaranteeing consistency and compliance across global offices.
- Develop and champion HR strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support the organisation’s expansive goals.
- Lead and manage both our key HR global external partners and internal talent and people operations team.
- Global Talent Management:
- Execute strategic hiring plans to support InDebted’s ambitious expansion targets.
- Oversee and lead global recruitment efforts via our Talent Function, enhancing efficiency and efficacy in talent acquisition.
- Monitor and refine recruitment metrics to ensure optimal outcomes, focusing on reducing time to fill and enhancing the quality of hires.
- Operational Excellence in People Operations:
- Ensure robust administration of HR policies and processes are frictionless.
- Responsible for the optimisation of our HR tech stack, including systems like PingBoard, Vanta, BambooHR, and Lever, to streamline operations and increase automation.
- Lead seamless people integrations following any global potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Oversee our existing employee engagement programs in consultation with the leadership team to foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and leverage insights to drive improvements in engagement and satisfaction metrics.
- Talent Development and Management:
- Support our leaders in organisational design to expedite rapid scalable growth.
- Facilitate leadership development and coaching programs, focusing on building capabilities to meet Indebted’s big, hairy goals.
- Manage the execution of OKRs and performance management processes to ensure Indebted’s strategic objectives are met.
- Global Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure a cohesive approach to HR policy and process integration across international locations, maintaining legal and operational compliance.
- Develop relationships with HR and legal external partners worldwide, enhancing our global HR network.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits, prepare the organisation for external evaluations, and ensure compliance with global standards like ISO and SOC2.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree (preferred).
- At least 8-10 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior HRBP role, ideally within a tech startup or scaleup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage global HR operations and 5+ years experience managing people teams.
- B2B2C experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage people integrations during M&As, ensuring smooth cultural and system alignment while maintaining continuous operations.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships cross-functionally and at all levels.
- Proven project management skills with a track record of managing multiple priorities to deliver high-quality results.
- Comprehensive understanding of global HR practices and trends.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and tools, including BambooHR, CultureAMP and Lattice.
- After 6 months in the role, you would have achieved the following:
- Efficiently handled HR integrations for any newly acquired companies, managing transitions effectively to maintain stability and employee morale during critical post-M&A phases.
- Optimised and enforced existing global HR processes, ensuring full compliance with evolving international standards.
- Facilitated the implementation of any required employee or leadership development and employee engagement initiatives that address immediate organisational needs.
- Led and motivated the P&C team, driving capabilities and high performance.
- Coordinated HR practices and compliance across multiple global jurisdictions, ensuring all regional HR operations align with Indebted’s vision, values and local regulations.
