Job Title: Recruitment Specialist (Healthcare)
Base Salary: $70,000- $90,000, based on years of experience and skillset
Location: West Coast, United States
Work model: Remote
Travel Requirements: 25% within the United States
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist in the healthcare sector to join our dynamic team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and a passion for connecting qualified professionals with impactful job opportunities.
The Recruitment Specialist will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our organization by sourcing and recruiting professionals who align with our mission. This position requires a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to manage the full recruitment process efficiently. The successful candidate will be dedicated to identifying and attracting top talent to join our organization and help us continue delivering high-quality services to the clinics we serve.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop best practices and recruitment strategy for a fast-growing healthcare consulting business to find the best talent in the market
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all roles while providing superior candidate experiences.
- Job description development, posting of job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, conducting reference checks, and managing the hiring process.
- Proactively source and identify qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networking and industry-specific platforms.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for roles, ensuring a continuous flow of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate and consult with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements
- Provide guidance and expertise on job market trends, salary information and recruitment strategies.
- Partner with hiring managers to create effective, targeted recruitment campaigns for both immediate and long-term staffing needs.
- Ensure all recruitment processes are compliant with relevant regulations.
- Stay informed about trends in healthcare recruitment, industry-specific challenges and competitor hiring practices.
- Provide recruitment reports and data to HR Leadership to improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.
- Work with external vendors and partners to support recruitment efforts (this includes collaborating - with talent agencies/consultancies, university/college programs, etc)
- Support retention efforts by identifying potential gaps or areas for improvement in the hiring process.
- Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, with at least 3 years experience in the Healthcare industry
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment for a range of positions
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, and other recruitment tools, Greenhouse experience is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing needs related to underserved communities or healthcare equity is a significant asset
