Kyle Milligan of Copy Squad LLC is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to help him grow his copywriting agency. He is looking for someone to streamline internal processes, onboard and communicate with clients, and ensure his team of copywriters get what they need to finish his clients’ marketing copy well and on time.

Copy Squad LLC writes sales copy packages for digital businesses and brands, including marketing funnels, emails, and other types of marketing copy. Copy Squad currently has more clients than they can serve, and Kyle is looking to grow his team so he can serve the waiting list of online businesses who need his services. Professionalism and following proven processes so that work can be completed both efficiently and effectively are very important to the Copy Squad team.

You are the ideal candidate if you are bursting with initiative, completely comfortable holding people accountable to milestones and deadlines, and accepting of political conservative viewpoints. Financial industry knowledge and experience is a plus!

You excel at crafting and streamlining systems and you will roll up your sleeves and dive in to ensure the work gets done. You have a high standard for success and don’t accept that “good enough is good enough.”

Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role)

  • Onboard agency clients and follow-up with them to ensure they deliver assets team copywriters need to complete sales copy packages; sign contracts; and pay invoices
  • Oversee all client projects to ensure copywriters have what they need to complete projects, hit project milestones, and complete sales copy packages on time
  • Create accountability scorecards, project milestones, and KPIs so team knows what’s required and whether they’re on track
  • Identify and be responsible for eliminating any obstacles to successful, on-time project completion
  • Ensure writers are following Kyle’s proven copy blueprints when creating clients’ marketing copy
  • Attend weekly stand-ups to review projects and make sure team is on track to hit deadlines
  • Check in daily to ensure projects are on track and problems are solved ASAP
  • Provide progress updates to CEO as needed
  • Audit, clean up, and systemize the company’s internal processes to increase efficiency and facilitate finishing projects on time and at a professional level
  • Keep clients updated on their project so they feel confident that progress is being made
  • Follow up with clients to see how marketing materials are performing and ascertain whether client needs additional packages

Offer Details

This is a part-time, remote, contractor position of 20 to 25 hours a week.
