About the opportunity:

Jerry is building the first AllCar™ super app to help people optimize all aspects of owning a car – insurance, buy/sell, registration, loans, safety, repairs, parking, etc – a $2T market in the U.S. We started with insurance in 2019, and since then we’ve launched loan refinancing, real-time driving insights, a repair marketplace, car diagnostics, and a GenAI-powered chatbot. We have amassed over 5M customers, raised $240MM in funding, scaled our revenue 40X and our team to 250 across 7 countries.

Reporting directly to our VP of Business Operations and Analytics, this Business Operations and Analytics Manager will gather, analyze, and model high-quality customer, vehicle, and historical loss data for our sophisticated machine learning models, driving key business decisions and helping shape our strategic direction. You will play an active role in making insights and recommendations for driving profitable growth, managing costs, setting prices, and identifying loss trends to address areas of concern across various insurance companies, states, and claim types. Working cross-functionally with senior leaders in Product, Partnerships, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Finance, you will develop systems and tools to support our insurance partners, drive supply in our marketplace, and help Jerry become the first truly connected ecosystem for car owners.

How you will make an impact:

  • Analyze customer, vehicle, and historical loss data to uncover trends and inform business decisions.

  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of A/B experiments on new and existing features, extracting key insights to inform product and business strategies.

  • Develop systems and tools to assist in loss cost management, pricing recommendations, and analysis of loss data.

  • Build scalable solutions and processes to ingest and ensure the integrity of claim/loss data from insurance partners.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Work closely with marketing and data teams to integrate loss performance insights into user acquisition strategies.

  • Collaborate with senior operational leaders and external partners to execute strategies for managing costs and setting prices.

  • Communicate analytical outcomes and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences, including the executive team.

  • Set high standards for yourself and your team, consistently pushing the bar higher in pursuit of operational excellence.

Ideal Profile:

  • 5+ years in consulting or business operations with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of experience in consulting or business operations post-MBA

  • Experience working at a startup or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.

  • Strong background in data science, business operations, data analytics, and/or product analytics.

  • Proficient in SQL and Python (or a similar ML programming language).

  • Ability to create alignment and drive decisions through collaboration and influence.

  • High emotional intelligence, creative problem-solving abilities, and adaptability.

  • Comfortable communicating across all levels of the company, including front-line employees and the company’s C-suite.
