The team:
This role spans Success Engineering and Business Technology, working at the intersection of internal tooling, Salesforce optimization, and full-stack application development. The team’s mission is to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience for internal and external users by building cutting-edge systems.
The role:
Reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering, the Senior Software Engineer Engineer will:
- Develop and maintain internal tools and platforms: Enhance tools like Anchor and integrate them with systems like Slack, PagerDuty, Salesforce, and Jira.
- Optimize Salesforce systems: Design automation, customizations, and integrations to streamline operations for sales and customer success teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product, engineering, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, build internal APIs, and drive process improvements.
- Lead architectural and design initiatives: Contribute to system architecture and design for scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Mentor and support teammates: Share best practices, provide technical mentorship, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Adapt to evolving needs: Handle ad hoc requests and support dynamic, high-performing teams to enable operational excellence.
To be successful, you should have:
Technical:
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails (RoR) and Salesforce Apex development.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices.
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, SOQL, and Visualforce/Lightning components.
- Experience with Salesforce declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow Builder).
- Proficiency in Git, Gearset, and data migration tools like Data Loader.
- Experience with architectural design and scalable system development.
