Staff Engineer – Application Development

This is a contract opportunity.

This is fully remote opportunity open to anywhere in the US.

 

About this position

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in technical design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise solutions. This fully remote position starts as a contract with potential for permanent conversion. The role involves leading initiatives, providing mentorship, and driving business value through technical solutions within the Global Site Solutions Organization.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and support software/technology components in collaboration with your Scrum team and business partners.
• Implement and manage third-party software products and services.
• Provide technical support for applications and services.
• Contribute to project solution designs addressing business needs.
• Lead discussions on design approaches for strategic and complex problems.
• Conduct Third-party and New Technology Assessments.
• Create Technical Design Documents and Architecture Diagrams.
• Develop and test solutions to meet user requirements.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge artifacts.
• Manage multiple demands and projects within deadlines.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and production support transitions.
• Adhere to compliance and security standards.

 

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent engineering skillset/training/experience.
• 8+ years in technical design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise solutions.
• Experience with full SDLC, SQL, Java, .NET, Power BI, Windows/Linux platforms, and SaaS solutions.
• Ability to analyze and resolve security vulnerabilities.
• Experience in enterprise-scale integration features, 3rd party integrations, and technical documentation.

• Leadership qualities and ability to work independently.
• Experience presenting solutions to larger audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Pay/Salary Range:

• Pay Range: $50-65/hour
