Overview:
Due to our success, we are seeking a smart, motivated Partner Account Executive. This role is the primary point of contact for new and existing Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners. You will cultivate relationships with and focus on fully understanding and enabling the success of the partner’s business with JumpCloud. You will also proactively engage partners to support the growth of their business and their resale of Directory-as-a-Service within their offerings.

\n- Present, promote, and sell the JumpCloud platform to prospective MSP partners
- Drive new monthly recurring revenue by acquiring new MSP partners into JumpCloud’s MSP partner program
- Qualify all partners passed to you by BDRs/SDRs, free accounts and partner applications with great efficiency
- Accurately qualify new partners, facilitate technical demonstrations and drive new partners to close
- Continuously Prospect into your assigned territory to drive pipeline growth and uncover new business opportunities beyond what you receive from the BDR/SDR team
- Working with MSPs of various sizes and employee counts, 1 to 250, by managing the entire sales cycle and bringing these partners to revenue as quickly as possible, then handing off to the Partner Account Management Team.
- Manage deals of all sizes, provide Partners support, documentation and a strategy for consolidating their tech stack with JumpCloud.
- Work with internal cross-functional teams to assist with partner evaluation, support and escalations when appropriate
- Participation in industry events such as trade shows, seminars and Partner Engage events to promote JumpCloud’s MSP program and service offerings, some travel will be necessary to succeed in the role, 4 to 7 times per year
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Support, Marketing, Product, etc.) to ensure an ideal and constantly improving partner experience
- 2 - 4 years of MSP sales, and/or account management experience; can also consider Security focused SaaS products and services with an IT-focused product
- Experience qualifying and selling to MSPs required, must be passionate about working with and selling to MSPs
- Familiarity with MSP tech stacks and the common tools used in the industry
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales targets
- BA / BS or equivalent education and relevant experience
- Ability to explore and make recommendations to partners based on customer; needs strong initiative and creativity applied through technology
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual compensation range for this role, depending on individual candidate level and experience, is $130,000 - $150,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions.

Where you’ll be working/Location:
JumpCloud is committed to being Remote First, meaning that you are able to work remotely within the country noted in this Job Description. For US Roles: All roles posted in United States locations do require that you be located within one of the 50 U.S. States. Our Headquarters is in the Denver/Boulder, CO area but as a remote company, you are able to work remotely anywhere in the U.S. If you would like to spend time in our offices in the Denver/Boulder area, you are welcome to do that as well.
