We’re growing and we are looking to add a People Operations Specialist to our fast-paced and customer-obsessed People & Culture team.
Location: We are a remote-first company and looking to hire this role between EST - PST time zones in Canada, excluding Quebec.

In the People Operations Specialist role, you will:
- Team Member Experience: Partner with fellow People & Culture team members to deliver exceptional experiences for our team members, including coordinating virtual events & connection points, leading our Culture Committee, and managing team member lifecycle events, like onboarding.
- Smooth Operations & Process Coordination: You’re the glue that keeps our team moving. From benefits administration to HR system management (and many processes in between!), you’ll have the opportunity to support, coordinate and/or own a broad range of recurring and ad hoc responsibilities to support Jungle Scouters.
- Project Management: There’s always something fun and exciting to work on at Jungle Scout! You’ll play a key role in managing projects, from creating a plan of action to ensuring it’s being executed on.
- Knowledge Management: Ensuring Jungle Scouters have access to the information they need in a way that’s exciting & digestible is a critical part of this role. You’ll manage our internal wiki and support internal communications so that we’re delivering this information to team members.
- Documentation & Compliance: As a rapidly scaling team, documentation and compliance are indispensable to our success. You’ll ensure thorough documentation is created for all team member lifecycle events and that our team member records are organized and optimized.
- People & Culture Team Member: You’ll partner with People & Culture team members to drive company initiatives forward, like planning virtual/ in-person events and managing ad hoc People projects as needed.
Who you are:
- 3-5+ Years of Experience with an Executive Assistant Background (or similar). You bring exceptional organizational, time management, project management, and problem-solving skills to the table. Your acute attention to detail, tech-savviness, adaptability, and proactive nature enable you to adeptly juggle multiple projects while ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed. With a diverse project background encompassing human resources, finance, events, and more, your experience underscores your versatility and ability to excel in various domains.
- Project Manager. Effectively managing projects with multiple stakeholders, holding team members accountable, and meeting deadlines is where you shine. You excel at crafting and executing project plans, ensuring that all necessary components are in place for successful project outcomes.
- Detail-Oriented. You’re often recognized for your exceptional attention to detail. From following a detailed process to creating and maintaining documentation, you can spot discrepancies that most would miss from a mile away. For you, it’s not just about ticking boxes, but catching the subtle details that matter.

You love getting to the bottom of things, leveraging your resources, and finding solutions (often even before a challenge has been identified). It doesn’t stop there though!
