About the Role
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing sales processes, systems, and performance. This role involves providing actionable insights, managing data integrity, and supporting the sales team to drive efficiency and achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales operations, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports.
- Evaluate and streamline sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Recommend and implement sales operations best practices
- Assist in the development and monitoring of sales forecasts and performance metrics, providing insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Ensure accurate and effective use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), oversee data integrity and troubleshoot issues
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and other key metrics
- Provide analytical support to the sales team, including ad-hoc analysis
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and industry benchmarks to inform sales operations strategies and initiatives
- Lead or support special projects related to sales operations, such as system upgrades, process improvements, or new tool implementations
- 2+ years experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a related field
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data analysis tools is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to support positive and growth-oriented professional relationships
- Ability to determine priorities, goals and objectives of work functions assigned
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
