Description
The Data Platform Engineer builds, implements, and manages Knowbe4’s data pipeline, infrastructure, and platforms. This role also monitors and troubleshoots issues on critical data platforms to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines for ELT processes
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues with data workflows and infrastructure
- Document data engineering processes, architecture, and operations
- Oversee implementation of data applications using Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and other big data technologies
Minimum Qualifications:
- Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and design principles for data storage and processing at scale.
- Experience with orchestration and workflow management tools.
- Understanding of data security, compliance, access control, and privacy requirements.
- Ability to optimize data solutions for cost, performance, scalability, and reliability.
The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 - $120,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
