Location Address: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto Number of Openings: 1 Pay $76,953.00 - $138,559.00 Job Posting Description: This role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid Secondment/Contract Duration: Up to 12 Months The Senior Manager, Digital Content oversees the planning, development and execution of digital content, managing strategy, stakeholder collaboration and publishing in support of LCBO business objectives. This position leads a team of content producers and publishers, works collaboratively with business stakeholders including marketing and product teams as well as corporate and retail groups to develop and implement successful content strategies for LCBO websites and other digital properties. LCBO Marketing and Digital team is looking for a skilled and experienced leader in the digital content space to provide strategic content solutions that enhance the customer experience and drive measurable results.   About the Role Leads a skilled group of external content resources (editors, writers, web production agency, digital content, and production coordinators) and internal team responsible for creating and publishing content to sites and mobile application. Collaborates with contributors including product managers, marketing managers, ecommerce merchandising leads, editors, writers, and designers involving promotional programs, content strategy, merchandise information, wireframes, web page layouts, and publishing schedules. Oversees planning and execution of digital content including content briefs, resource allocation, stakeholder collaboration, content calendaring, brand consistency and compliance.  Defines digital content strategy for main sites ensuring consistency across delivery streams. Responsible for the implementation and execution of digital content quality assurance best practices. Provides content performance analysis, content testing strategies and optimization (SEO), sets and tracks content KPIs making recommendations to optimize the online customer experience. Collaborates with digital publishing lead and IT partners to test and optimize content publishing in Adobe Experience Manager and eCommerce platforms. Works across LCBO divisions providing digital content solutions to Corporate Communications, Sustainability, Human Resources, Retail and Wholesale partners. Monitors and provides direction to content developers to ensure digital content accuracy and ensure that it complies with copyright and privacy regulations.  meets AGCO guidelines and accessibility (AODA) standards. Oversees the procurement of content service providers and ensures that the sourcing of services and materials are compliant with LCBO purchasing policies and legal guidelines.  Employs solid leadership skills and maintains a high-productivity, high-motivation work environment. Fosters a strong team environment and generates enthusiasm and buy-in for content strategies and programs. Oversees department budget. About You 8+ years of experience in digital marketing/advertising, web content development /management, digital KPIs /analytics, creative asset creation in agency or client environment. Experience producing and publishing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge. Digital content strategy and execution with a goal to increasing online engagement and conversion. Results and data-driven mindset with a strong analytical capability and solid experience leveraging site and customer data to drive conversion. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager as CMS, Google Analytics and other performance monitoring platforms. Decision-making is required when overseeing deployment of various projects, providing direction to content project leads, allocating adequate resources and establishing project timeframes. Effective at cross-functional collaboration to manage projects with multiple stakeholders and many moving parts. Proficiency leading cross-functional teams. Thought leadership and making sound digital content marketing recommendations. An eye for great content (design and writing). Sound knowledge of marketing principles and quantitative/qualitative concepts, as well as digital content design and production.    SEO knowledge an asset. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills to liaise with all levels of management and to negotiate with suppliers, contractors, etc.    Position requires excellent organization and project management skills acquired through demonstrated experience in a progressively responsible project leadership positions. Judgment also required to present content plans and strategy to stakeholders to obtain buy-in and commitment. Ability to deal with stress and competing deadlines due to high priority projects running concurrently often with overlapping deadlines.
