Role Mission
As a Sales Executive, you will conduct end-to-end sales generating new business for our software development outsourcing service line, across the US and Canada; This includes driving new leads (leveraging existing relationships, your ability to network effectively, and cold outbound), leading discovery meetings, articulating our services and value, scoping projects, drafting SOWs, and negotiating/closing deals.
\n- Build a sales plan, leveraging existing relationships, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives (cold outbound).
- Close 1+ material deal(s) within your first 3 months.
- Maintain pipeline progress and opportunity progression via HubSpot CRM.
- Drive contract negotiations with clients, leveraging internal legal and business partners as appropriate.
- Deliver updates during internal meetings, weekly 1:1s, and company-wide town halls.
- Participate in, and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Drive significant impact on our gross profit goals in 2024 (and beyond).
- Travel from time to time.
- 7+ years selling software development services (B2B) to US-based companies.
- A strong understanding of technology, especially in Engineering, Product, and Design.
- You have a continuous-learning mindset; You’re an analytical thinker and a problem solver.
- Experience leveraging a sales/marketing CRM (preferably HubSpot).
- Experience building and launching email campaigns (to complement your other methods for driving new business).
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly develop business relationships virtually or in person.
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to create and tell compiling stories.
- A high degree of self-accountability and drive for success.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience at a start-up.
- Expert-level skills using HubSpot.
- Experience selling software development services.
- A technical background, preferably in engineering or product.
