Role Mission
As a Senior Data Scientist Consultant, you’ll spearhead the development of an AI tool aimed at transforming the telecommunications (telco) industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead a groundbreaking project that will revolutionize how telco companies operate and serve their customers.
Part-Time Hours: 5 hours per week, or as needed
\n- Develop a functional prototype of predictive models utilizing user data to forecast behaviors and preferences, tailored specifically for telecommunications use cases
- Implement basic algorithms for data processing, feature extraction, and model training to achieve proof of concept, addressing telco stakeholders' pain points
- Collaborate closely with telco stakeholders to understand their unique challenges, extract relevant insights from data, and iterate on the prototype based on their feedback
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of telco datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for predictive modeling
- Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient data collection, storage, and preprocessing, ensuring scalability and reliability in telco environments
- 5 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models with a focus on practical applications in the telecommunications industry
- Proven track record of collaborating with telco stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making and address business challenges
- Proficiency in Python or R for rapid prototyping and model development, with a focus on telco-specific applications
- Solid understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms, with experience applying them to telco datasets
- Familiarity with telco infrastructure, protocols, and data sources, enabling effective communication and collaboration with telco stakeholders
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines for efficient data processing, including data wrangling, cleansing, and database management
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering functional solutions within tight timelines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team, particularly in cross-functional collaborations with telco professionals
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
