Role Mission
The Solutions Engineer will act as the primary liaison between our clients and internal engineering teams. This role requires a blend of in-depth technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of projects, from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
\n- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs and expectations
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and conduct regular meetings to discuss project status, issues, and solutions
- Lead project planning sessions, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure all project aspects are aligned and deadlines are met
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion
- Understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring technical solutions meet client requirements
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, proactively resolving project issues and addressing client concerns promptly
- 5+ years of experience in a technical project management/solutions engineer role
- 3+ experience in software engineering, with up-to-date knowledge of current tech stacks
- A high bar for code quality and an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, you’re effective in finding quick solutions, you’re data driven, and you have a do-what-it-takes attitude
- You’re product-minded, understanding implications if changes to code or features
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Recent experience in consulting
- Experience in EdTech, FinTech, Telco, and/or the AI space
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus
- 100% fully remote work (anywhere in North America)
