Limble is a rapidly growing company, and we're looking for a Backend Engineer III to help scale our backend codebase. You will provide value through leading and joining projects to improve the responsiveness and scalability of our backend systems. At a start-up company your days will be varied: you might be adding a feature to an existing codebase, building a new microservice, or migrating data. You’ll be a great fit if you have a passion for clean code and architecture, have successfully scaled backend services and love collaborating to find creative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and build performant, reliable, extendable, scalable systems
Own the full life cycle of API service development
Coordinate with other teams on cross-cutting technical issues and provide technical advice on decisions that impact other teams or the company at large
Contribute to improving team productivity through code reviews, documentation, technical guidance, and mentoring
Identify problems and propose team projects that resolve them
Requirements:
7+ years of building performant APIs
Passion for writing excellent code
Expertise in database management systems, architecture, and SQL queries
Self-starter with a high degree of motivation; ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Strong track record of building, optimizing and scaling web APIs based on feedback from customers and internal teams
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Open to on-call rotation

Experience scaling APIs
Nodejs/PHP/GoLang experience

$130,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
