The Product Operations Project Manager assists in planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting on projects from conception through implementation. In this role, you will manage all dimensions of the modern software project (timeline development/dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, status reporting and stakeholder communication to successfully drive project efforts. You will work with product management and technical delivery professionals to drive results and meet project deadlines.
\n- Assist in planning, managing, and monitoring projects from concept through implementation.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gain consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Assist in establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards and leadership expectations using appropriate tools.
- Meet with project stakeholders to provide status updates and incorporate project-related feedback.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track project performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Assist with gathering data and preparing a variety of operational reports covering project estimates, project status, staff time recording/expense and other management reports as assigned.
- Knowledge/Abilities:
- Project management process knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members.
- Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in a demanding environment.
- Knowledge and ability to use computer and software applications (Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint preferred)
- Effective communication skills and strong desire to work with others.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience in Project Management
- Project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum (preferred)
