As a DevOps Engineer at Lucidya, your primary purpose is to streamline the software development and deployment processes, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams. Your role is crucial in achieving efficient, automated, and reliable workflows.

Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

  •   Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize IaC tools to manage and provision infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring solutions and centralized logging for proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate communication between development and operations teams to enhance overall efficiency and quality of software delivery.
  • Security: Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment processes.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities for automation, reducing manual intervention in routine tasks.
  • Cloud Services: Work with cloud providers to optimize infrastructure and leverage cloud services effectively.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a DevOps culture or similar position.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Proficiency knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Strong knowledge with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of IaC principles and tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with the entire software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in building and maintaining custom tools and scripts.
