What will you do at Presence?
The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for the management and optimization of our website, ensuring it remains secure, efficient, and user-friendly. This is a key role within the organization that sits in the Marketing department and works cross-functionally with several stakeholders. This role will allow you to leverage your technical expertise, creative insights, and strategic thinking to drive the success of our digital presence. The role will report to the Director of Performance & Growth Marketing.
Primary Responsibilities
Website Management & Design
- Take ownership of our WordPress website, overseeing day-to-day operations, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and implementing ongoing improvements to enhance user experience and performance.
- Leverage website analytics and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement UI/UX changes to enhance user experience and engagement.
- Work closely with the creative team to provide technical expertise and guidance during design discussions, offering insights on feasibility and best practices.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure consistency and usability across various devices and screen sizes.
Support Integration Projects
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party tools, platforms, and APIs into our website.
- Assist in the implementation of tracking and analytics solutions to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve any issues or challenges related to integrations and website functionality.
SEO Strategy
- Work closely with the content team to provide SEO insights and recommendations for website content.
- Conduct keyword research, analysis, and optimization to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, and structured data markup, to enhance website performance in search results.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics and provide regular reports and analysis to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
What are we looking for?
- 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Web Developer specializing in WordPress development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a focus on front-end development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, with a track record of implementing successful strategies.
- Experience with design collaboration tools such as Figma, enabling effective communication and cooperation with the creative team.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tools to analyze and enhance web & marketing performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Flexible, entrepreneurial-spirit, with a preference for a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

An employee’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
Salary $110,000.00-$130,000.00
Where is this position located?
- Presence is headquartered in New York with our clients located throughout the U.S.
- This role reports to Director, Performance & Growth Marketing
- We support remote work from all US-based locations, provided that the candidate can travel as needed for internal and external meetings (less than 10%).
- Must reside within the US
- All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, noon-5 pm EST M-F.
