MedArrive is a fast-paced and rapidly-growing healthcare start-up on a simple mission: Improving people's lives by bringing more humanity to healthcare. Our enemy is an often soulless, transactional healthcare system that’s increasingly engineering the vital human touch away from the experience - and often hard to access.
Founded in 2020 and launching in our first market in early 2021, we notably improved health outcomes and reduced costs for major health plans with wraparound clinical services supported by purpose-built tech. You can read more about a few of the programs we ran here: MedArrive: Customer stories
Starting in 2024, we have fully shifted our focus to using our technology and experience to enable other healthcare provider organizations with their growth and patient care ambitions. We are building a platform to support care models centered on bringing healthcare to an individual via a combination of in-home, virtual and digital interactions, making the essence of a person’s healthcare experience all about getting the help they need when and where they need it. While our customers are healthcare providers, our end users are clinicians, caregivers and patients. The platform is aimed at a wide range of capabilities delivered via a combination of mobile and web experiences: patient population and outcomes analytics, capacity and utilization modeling, shift management and scheduling, route optimization, personalized patient outreach and automated patient engagement, to name but a few.
We have close partnerships with healthcare provider organizations with whom we are iterating on the initial version of our platform. Our target is to start going live with them towards the end of this year. This is an exciting time for us as we balance the headiness of our ambitions for the platform with the very real problems we want to nail for our first set of users today.
We are a small yet mighty, high-octane and fun-loving team, drawn to the mission of healthcare, and driven by a shared passion to use technology in novel ways to solve real problems. A key part of our platform is a mobile companion app for clinicians that are mostly in the field visiting patients in their home. We hold ourselves to the consumer experience bar, even though we are building a system for enterprise users. We are looking for a creative, hands-on, Senior Software Engineer who has extensive mobile development experience to help us up our game. You have both new product and platform scaling experience, preferably a background in the healthcare or consumer industries. You thrive in fast-paced, role-fluid environments that are maniacally focused on solving for the end-user. While mobile development is where your depth of experience is, you are facile with web development in general, and are comfortable enough with back-end development to consider yourself a full stack engineer.

- Contribute more broadly towards development of the platform. Touch many different parts of the tech stack, and move between different systems.
- Work directly with customers and end-users to understand workflows and solicit input.
- Stay on top of advances in tech capabilities, competitor landscape, all in service of delivering a best-in class experience to our end-users. Determine the best way to solve the problems at hand and address feedback.
